Here's a template for a typical branch herald's report. Fill this out and send it to Crux Australis and your local seneschal once every three months according to the schedule, and you've met the basic requirements of the job. How easy is that?

Reporting Schedule

This is the reporting schedule for the kingdom, as of February 2013 (it was optional in January). Note the essential details for heralds, who are included in "Officers":

• Canton, College and incipient group heralds: reports due the 15th of January, April, July and October.
• Baronial and Shire heralds: reports due 15th of February, May, August and November.
• Kingdom Principal Herald: reports due last day of February, May, August and November.

That means that baronial and shire heralds have a month to incorporate the reports from their subordinates in cantons and colleges, then Crux Australis has a fortnight to incorporate those reports into his report to the kingdom and the Laurel King of Arms.

Crux Australis Principal Herald

The Crux Australis Herald is the Principal Herald for the Kingdom of Lochac. The Kingdom Principal Herald is responsible for the administration & co-ordination of all heraldic activities within the kingdom. Crux Australis can be contacted by emailing herald AT lochac DOT sca DOT org.
