so i want to put a stag on my heraldry, but the stag wants to be vert.
however, i also enjoy a pall gules.
my question is this: is a pall considered able to have a colour on it because it is part of the escutcheon and not a charge?
my partner strongly advocates following the rule of tincture.
help please.
