This is the official announcement mailing list for the SCA in Australia and New Zealand (known collectively in the SCA as Lochac). Legal disclaimer: The Shambles is not an official publication of SCAA Ltd or SCANZ Inc and does not delineate official policy on any matter. Announcements made on this list are official only within the context of SCA events and activities. Details on the rules for operation of this list can be found here. This list is administered by the Annunciator[1], Sorle Maknicoll. All posts sent to this list are automatically forward to The Shambles, Polit and Stormhold lists by request of those lists' administrators and do not need to be copied to them. There are people who also subscribe to this list to avoid the 'noise' on the other, high-traffic, lists so you are guaranteed a larger audience if you post here! Replies to posts on this list are forwarded to the author of the post. Discussion should be directed to The Shambles as this is NOT a discussion list.

Using Lochac-Announce
To post a message to all the list members, send email to lochac-announce@sca.org.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Lochac-Announce
Subscribe to Lochac-Announce by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
