About Rowanites
This is the mailing list for the Barony of Rowany. The Barony of Rowany is the branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) located in Sydney NSW Australia, and some of its surroundings. If you don't know what the SCA is then you might like to explore a variety of web sites starting with the Australian and New Zealand SCA website or the USA website. Using Rowanites
To post a message to all the list members, send email to rowanites@lochac.sca.org. This mailing list is intended for the following: Notices, updates and/or requests by and from Officers of the Barony of Rowany or its Colleges Notices, updates and/or requests from Stewards or persons in charge of Baronial or College events or demos. (Other than Rowany Festival which has its own mailing list festival@sca.org.au) Feedback to the Officers of the Barony of Rowany or its Colleges about planned activities, scheduling or other administrative issues. Feedback to Stewards or persons in charge of Baronial or College events or demos about planned activities, scheduling or other issues. Any other correspondence or commentary relevant to the Barony of Rowany or its Colleges. Please note that the Lochac List (lochac@sca.org.au) is the correct place for general commentary and conversation about the SCA in Australia. In general, multi-layered and or multi-threaded conversations should be avoided on this list. Posting outside of these parameters will result in a warning. Repeated infringements will result in the removal of the subscriber. Posters are also reminded to check the web page for the rules for acceptable use of the e-mail lists on this server. Subscribing to Rowanites
Subscribe to Rowanites by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
