Comprising Australia, New Zealand and their Antarctic territories, the Kingdom is a regional branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international non-profit educational organisation that is dedicated to the research and recreation of pre-17th century European History, with a particular focus on its practical applications in arts and sciences, including costuming, cooking, martial arts, dance, calligraphy and illumination, metalwork, archery and music (to name but a few!).

Kingdom Positions Available

Lochac Webminister

The office of the Kingdom Web Minister serves as a Lesser Officer of the Kingdom and is be responsible for the maintenance and updating of the Kingdom Website, Royal website and webwright email handling all queries.

Duties for this position include:
• Maintaining the Kingdom web site
• Determining web policy for the Kingdom
• Warranting and working with local Web Ministers to advise if pages are accurate and appropriate for the SCA. The Kingdom Web Minister is responsible for all Web Ministers of the Kingdom, monitoring their web sites for compliance with these policies and other applicable governing documents. These duties may be delegated to a deputy, but ultimate authority remains with the Kingdom Web Minister.

Requirements to apply for this position are:
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
• Capabilities in Website page creation, HTML, graphics manipulation, FTP and associated site management.
• Access to the Pegasus, the Kingdom newsletter.
• Reliable email/internet access.

This position reports directly to the Society Webminister and Lochac Seneschal.
